About AWIFSS:
Albury Wodonga Islamic Funeral Support Services (AWIFSS) is one of the activities run by the Islamic Society of Albury Wodonga (ISAW) Inc. At the time of death, support is critical to the deceased family. ISAW understands these needs, and therefore, in order to stand by the side of the family and to provide them with appropriate support and guidance ISAW initiated these services.
Albury Wodonga Islamic Funeral Support Services (AWIFSS) has a Funeral Committee. The committee guides:
Albury-Wodonga mosque is the only mosque between Sydney-Melbourne and Canberra-Melbourne. Considering this geographical location factor and lack of services within this vast areas, this Funeral Support Service is available for muslims living in these catchment areas.

The Funeral Support Services provided by the Albury-Wodonga Islamic Society are free of costs. However, please note that members of the deceased person’s family will bear the actual funeral costs e.g. council fees, transport, registered funeral service provider costs etc.
